Mission
Tékhne - Polytechnical Studies Review - is the scientific review of the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave, whose aim is to publish and divulge different streams of the scientific thought encompassing the most important areas of Portuguese and foreign higher institutions and schools, namely polytechnics, therefore constituting a means of communication to experts and researchers in several domains, and stimulating academic research by highlighting scientific findings and outcomes as well as the potentialities of practical application.
